Dr. Vivien Brown, a Toronto-based family physician, speaks in Canada and around the world about healthy aging and women's health, along with prevention and many other topics. She is president of the Federation of Medical Women of Canada and vice-president of medical affairs at Medisys Health Group, which has personal and corporate health clinics in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, and Quebec. She is a member of numerous advisory bodies for both the provincial and federal government, helping to make decisions about healthcare of Canadians. In 2012, she was named Physician of the Year (Toronto Region) by the Ontario College of Family Physicians. She also received the prestigious Enid Johnson MacLeod Award from the Federation of Medical Women of Canada for teaching in women's health.
